BlockFi vs AQRU – The Differences
When it comes to digital currency services, AQRU and BlockFi are two of the most well-known names in the industry. At first glance, their services may seem quite similar. However, some crucial distinctions make AQRU the superior option.
Neither AQRU nor BlockFi charge for fiat withdrawals. However, the fees differ significantly when it comes to withdrawing your funds in Crypto. BlockFi provides one free withdrawal per month on certain Crypto assets but charges for other transactions with differing rates for different coins. For example, withdrawing stablecoins with BlockFi incurs a $50 fee. On the other hand, AQRU charges a flat $20 on Crypto withdrawals, no matter the coin.
While BlockFi has a more extensive range of coins to invest in, AQRU offers significantly higher returns. AQRU provides up to 7% APY on investments of any size. Whereas BlockFi only provides a maximum of 9.5% APY, and even then, you can only access this rate on specific account “tiers”. This complicated tiered system makes it difficult for users to know exactly what they can expect.
Additionally, AQRU provides daily interest payments on investments, while BlockFi only pays out monthly. So, in addition to compounding benefits, you can start seeing returns from your investment right away with AQRU rather than waiting a whole month with BlockFi.
